Driving Directions

St. Francis-in-the-Wood is located in Olde Caulfeild, West Vancouver just east of Lighthouse Park.

Driving From Vancouver

Reset your trip odometer as you drive northbound onto the Lions Gate bridge

1.6km follow signs to West Vancouver, follow loop around and merge onto Marine Drive westbound
2.3km enter West Vancouver and continue west on Marine Drive
4.3km cross 16th Avenue
7.8km pass under railroad trestle
12.1km note fire hall on your right as you come around curve

Take an immediate left onto The Dale. Stay left and follow The Dale down to the water; you'll see the church on your left.

Driving via the Upper Levels highway

Drive west on the Upper Levels Highway; take exit #4 (the Caulfeild Woodgreen exit). Go left and cross the overpass. Continue straight on Headland Avenue and follow the solid yellow line downhill all the way to the church.

A Few Words About Parking

Bylaw will ticket and immediately tow cars if an emergency vehicle (such as a fire truck) cannot pass or has difficulty passing, especially on the one way streets to the east of the church. They also ticket and tow when driveways are blocked. Please be aware that many of the driveways in this area are hidden. The streets are very narrow. It is recommended that you park on The Dale or Water Lane.
