"Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, stays these couriers  (singers :-) ) from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." - Herodotus, 503 B.C

The Easter Sunday sunrise service was held in spite of rain that persisted! However, weather did not prevent many from venturing out for this traditional service, altogether nearly 70 people including a good number of choir members, gathered to celebrate the resurrection at the 7 am service!

Following the rainy celebration, the earlybirds joined Angus and Janice in the lounge for a lovely breakfast complete with a mimosa bar!!! Enormous thanks to Louise Selby and Hilary Carpenter who did a wonderful job organizing the meal and ensured there were both goodies and mimosas left for coffee hour after the 10 am service!
