The role of the Stewardship Committee is to grow our parish, particularly in terms of the number of active parishioners and the funds required to sustain our community. Over the past couple of years we have been blessed with new families joining the church, higher attendance at Sunday services and more participation at parish events.
Our biggest source of funds is, of course, the generous support of parishioners. The bulk of these donations come from annual pledges through pre-authorized debit or PAD. If you wish to pledge your support in this way please pick up a pledge form from the Parish Office and return it with your signature. You can also make a donation through the collection plate at Sunday services, by attending parish fundraising events, by inserting a bequest to St. Francis in your will, by participating in our periodic capital campaigns or by dropping off a cheque at the office. We can even accept donations of shares and other financial instruments. All donations are, of course, tax creditable.
To discuss making a donation or supporting St. Francis through more active participation in parish life, please contact any member of the Stewardship Committee (listed below), one of our priests or any member of the Parish Council.
