Bishop John Stephens has recently sent a letter to all churches within the Diocese of New Westminster as an update on Mask Mandates, Vaccination Passports and Worshipping and Gathering in the Churches and Buildings of the Diocese of New Westminster. He has reiterated and clarified his expectations within the Diocese. St. Francis-in-the-Wood Church will be following this guidelines update.
This includes....
- those eligible to receive the vaccine are encouraged to be vaccinated
- Masks should be worn (with some exceptions)
- A choir is permitted but are requested to wear a mask even while singing
- Prior to receiving Communion, individuals should sanitize their hands
