Friends,
Pentecost is coming—and with it, a bit of wind, a bit of fire, and a whole lot of mystery.
It’s often called the birthday of the Church, which is a great excuse for cake and ice cream (more on that in a second). But it’s also a day that tells the truth about what it means to be human—and what happens when God shows up in the middle of our mess and makes something beautiful out of it.
We’ll hear again how fear tried to build a tower at Babel… and how the Spirit built something better at Pentecost—not through control or sameness, but through deep listening, honest difference, and shared purpose. It’s a wild story. And it still has something to say to us now.
So bring your questions. Wear red if you’ve got it. Come ready to wonder, and to celebrate—because after church, we’re throwing a little birthday party for the Church with an ice cream social. No speeches. Just scoops of joy and good company.
Hope to see you Sunday, I’ll save you a seat!
