Friends,
This Sunday points us toward a simpler way to live. Jeremiah names our habit of drawing from “cracked cisterns”—things that don’t hold the life we’re after. The psalm answers with God’s promise to satisfy what’s truly hungry. Hebrews keeps love practical: hospitality, compassion, sharing, praise. And at a dinner, Jesus says: take the low seat, and invite the people who can’t pay you back.
All together: less ladder-climbing, more table-making. Less chasing what won’t satisfy, more room for God’s good gifts and for one another.
If you’re new, you won’t sit alone. If you’ve been around, take the low seat on purpose and keep an eye out for someone to welcome. Bring a friend if you like—no RSVP required.
We’ll gather like normal at 10 am- in person or online. Come as you are and let the liturgy do its steady work.
With you in prayer from Sandy Cove,
Alex+
