Friends,
Have you noticed how the air’s a little cooler, the leaves are starting to turn? For us here at St. Francis, that can only mean one thing: it’s Salmon BBQ time!
This Sunday after the 10am service we’ll gather for our annual feast — salmon sourced from a local business, and sides and desserts lovingly made by parish hands. It’s a meal that reminds us how connected we are: to the land, to one another, and to God’s generosity.
And here’s the other truth: the big changes we long for in the world often start with small steps — sharing food, planting bulbs, praying together. None of it is wasted.
So come hungry for salmon (or beef/veggie burgers), and maybe a little hungry for hope too.
See you Sunday, I’ll save you a seat.
